When it came time to build out our taproom, we went to see Brian Conner at Connerwood Farms in Woodstown, New Jersey. Brian's farm and tools are incredible - so is the wood he sustainably harvests. He provided Tonewood Brewing with the raw materials to build an eco-friendly and beautiful taproom that matches its name.
Wood for the taproom's ceiling, furniture, and bar were harvested from Brian's trees. The taproom bar - a solid piece of poplar from a single tree - is going to be the cenerpiece of the taproom. It sits directly in front of our brewhouse (more on that in a future post). When you visit Tonewood Brewing, make sure to pull up a stool at the bar - if there's room. We're sure it will be popular.
